Urea Formaldehyde Concentrate
Urea Formaldehyde Concentrate (UFC) is a viscous liquid containing formaldehyde, urea, and water. It is produced by first reacting methanol with air to generate formaldehyde, which is then absorbed into a urea solution to form UFC.
As a key intermediate for multiple derivatives, UFC is valued for its high solid content, superior fluidity, low water percentage, and extended shelf life. It is manufactured at an integrated facility in Patalganga, Maharashtra, strategically located near Nhava Sheva, West India’s largest commercial port, making it suitable for a wide range of chemical and industrial applications.
